Obituary of Mrs. Sheila Bishop

Sheila Pauline Bishop was a caring Mother, Grandmother, Great grandmother, sister, Aunt and Friend to many. She passed away peacefully on September 11th 2023.  

Sheila was born on January 3rd. 1937.  In Welchman Hall St. Thomas ,Barbados To the late Elma Clement.  

She was the Beloved Mother to Don Bishop and Joycelyn Jemmott,  Loving Grandmother to Shawn, Sara-Marie, kyro,Donovan and Arin and Great-Grandmother of Nine.  

Sheila was the loving sister to Jean Stanford, the late Ena Carnegie, and Jim Hutson.  Sister in law to Evelyn Baker and Marjorie Bishop.

Sheila Migrated to England from Barbados in 1962. Many years later the family decided to move to Canada where she resided until her final breath.

Sheila loved to attend church.  Traveled to many countries, love to cook she found so much pleasure in seeing everyone she loved all together happy and full. Sheila was a collector of fine China and had a heart of gold.

As we gather now in grief, we will fill the space she left behind with memories of a life spent in service and support of others.  Her legacy lives on in the values and traditions she passed on to her family.  She will forever be in our hearts.
