To Our Uncle and Brother
It is with deep sadness that we say farewell to our dearly beloved Uncle and Brother. As a child growing up in Tobago, I embraced the opportunity to see my Uncle and his family when they visited our home. Though distance away he loved his Caribbean family unconditionally. I am happy that we kept in touch and in our recent conversation you mentioned you were not well, but I couldn't fathom it would be our last. The wonderful memories of you will forever be etched in my mind.
Today, we celebrate you Uncle Mitchell, your sisters - Thelma, Cathalyn and Eka are heartbroken and even more so, since they are unable to witness your homegoing, but they are strengthened by the fact that you are in a better place.
From your nieces and nephews - Marilyn, Hyacinth, Sharon, Inger, Nicole, Lystra, Pat, Tracy, Harold, Rock, Ricardo, Hamel, Clint, Mboya, Arno, Mellie and others, we say farewell with heavy hearts. Thank you for your love and support over the years.
Rest Peacefully, We love you!
Michelle.
