I was lucky enough to have met Andrew 5 years ago at work. I immediately knew what a special soul he is - instant friendship. I got to see him every day, and I looked forward to it.
Over the years I got to know Andrew very well. We would chat for hours. I enjoyed our talks both serious and silly. He always answered my goofy questions without hesitation or filter. I love that about him. So genuine, kind, caring, open, silly, so loving. I always felt safe talking to him, and he was so kind and patient, listening to me - me listening to him.
Thank you, Andrew for being my friend. Thank you, Andrew for sharing so much of your life with me. I tried not to be 'nosey', but you were so great and welcomed all my questions with honest answers. From your shoes, painting your room, base guitars, church band, baseball, food, bbq's, vacations and trips, the pictures you shared of family, your truck. Thank you, Andrew for trusting me. Thank you, Andrew for standing beside me whenever you could. I miss that. Everything. You mean so much to me. I hope you know that. DrewDrew. I hope heaven is filled with Haggen Dasz Dulce de Leche ice-cream. It is so sweet and smooth, just like you.
I'll see you again. All my heart and soul.
