Obituary of Mr. Romeo Aguilar Gorospe

Romeo Aguilar "Romy" Gorospe of Scarborough passed away on August 27, 2023
at Scarborough General Hospital after battling COPD.
Romeo was born on November 12, 1948 in Manila, a city of great significance to
him. Romeo was a kind and selfless person with a great sense of humour. He was a
devoted father to his three children in the Philippines and was known to often wake
up early to brew coffee for his family.
Romeo is survived by his wife, Liberty Gorospe; his daughter, Rhoelyn Gorospe; his
son, Ferdinand Gorospe; his daughter, Florence Cassidy; his son, Frederick
Gorospe; his sister, Tessi; his sister, Clarita; his sister, Claire; and his sister-in-law,
Juanita Fontanilla. Romeo was preceded in death by his parents Florentina and
Fernado; Florentina was Romeo's mother, and Fernado was Romeo's father. Family
and friends are invited to join in honouring the life of Romeo at Ogden Funeral
Home, 4164 Sherppard Ave. E, ON. A viewing will be held on Saturday, September
2nd from 4pm to 7pm. A Mass will follow in the Ogden Funeral Home Chapel from
7pm to 8pm. Prayers and services will take place at Ogden Funeral Home on
Sunday, September 3rd from 10am to 11pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to the
family, memorial contributions can be made in Romeo's name
