Obituary of Mrs. Elizabeth Ramsbotham
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Elizabeth Margaret Ramsbotham (nee Pereira).
God called onto Elizabeth on Monday, August 28th, 2023 and she passed away peacefully surrounded by family at Scarborough General Hospital at the age of 80 years.
Beloved wife to Eslyn Ramsbotham for 53 years.
Loving mother of Elaine (Dany) Ricardo, Michael, Joy (Patrick) Meehan and Barbara (Nicholas) Ferreira.
Adored Nana of Roman, Eden, Pierce, Rio, Ava, Charlotte, Hannah, Juliana, Emma, Jacob and Lucas.
Elizabeth is predeceased by her parents, Vincent and Stella Maria Pereira and her first grandson, Eric Ricardo. Also, predeceased by her sister Carmel O’Brien, brother-in-law Noel O’Brien, sister Barbara Hidalmasi, brother-in-law, Nick Hidalmasi, and her brothers, Reverend Father Adrian Pereira and Joseph Pereira. She is mourned by her siblings, Zelma Pereira, sister-in-law Monica Pereira, William (Kathleen) Pereira and Lawrence (Monique) Pereira.
Elizabeth valued and loved her family very much. She was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother.
She was caring, loving and devoted to her faith.
Elizabeth will be fondly remembered by all her extended family and friends.
May she rest in peace.
