Fiorello Salting Amparado passed away peacefully on Sunday August 27, 2023. He is lovingly remembered by his wife of 52 years, May, son and daughter-in-law Petros and Ayesha Amparado, daughter and son-in-law, Tina May and John McCauley, grandsons Jordan, Jules and Ellis Amparado and Nolan McCauley and granddaughters, Kahlan and Lyla McCauley.  

 

The oldest of seven children, Fiorello (Fionggoy) was born in Iriga City, Philippines on April 23, 1941. He follows to heaven his eldest son, Joey, his parents, Pedro and Natividad Amparado, and his siblings Senen (Bait), Violeta, Arnel and Josefina. He is survived by his siblings Pedro Jr. and Gemela, and his many nieces and nephews.

 

He will be fondly remembered for his singing, story-telling, gentle nature, and love for tennis.  He will be dearly missed by everyone who knew him but we take comfort in knowing he is reunited with his family that has gone before him. Until we meet again, enjoy your Chivas and Blue Label. We love you, Dad!
