My sincere condolences to the family of Carmen Telfer! Carmen and I lost contact when she left our congregation at St. Paul’s L’Amoreaux Anglican Church many years ago. I am so sorry to hear of her passing. Carmen and many of the members of St. Paul’s were transported to church on Sundays, and shared many stories together. She was a lovely lady, with a great personality. On behalf of the members of St. Paul’s, May she Rest in Eternal Peace. Heaven has gained another Angel.

I first met my cousin Carmen in Kingston, Jamaica when she first came to visit. We fell in love with her so much that our mother convinced her to stay. She was beautiful, kind loving and intelligent. And she taught my siblings and I a lot about Manchester and other relatives that we didn’t know. She was a bonafide loving member of our family for many years. And I will always remember how genuinely opinionated she was and all the discussions we had. I loved you (Ruby) and hope you rest in peace. SOME DAY WE’LL ALL BE FREE! Orell
