It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Maria Margarida Mendes, peacefully on Wed July 19, 2023 surrounded by her family at the age of 94.  Beloved wife to Raul (predeceased), loving mother to Margaret (Ever), Manuel (Karen), loving grandmother to Tatiana, Shawn, Anthony and Aaliyah.  Sister to Irene and Jose (predeceased)

Maria will always be remembered for her kind heart, warm smile and her love for her family.  She will be deeply missed and cherished.  Rest in Peace Maria.
