Obituary of Mrs. Elaine Indrani Latchana

Our dear mother, Elaine Latchana ( Hanoman), peacefully passed away July 17, 2023 at Oshawa Hospital. 

Mom was born on Dec. 17, 1939 in Guyana. She was one of ten children born to Jacob and Hilda Hanoman.

Mom was happily married to our dad for 32 years, until he passed in 1995. Our mom leaves behind three children, Yolande, Selmon and Romain, along with their spouses, Sunita, Lisa and Richard, her five grandchildren~ Jordan, Jack, Alyssa, Julian, Marion ~and one great granddaughter ~ Amaya.

Mom was a fun spirited and social woman, that loved being around others. A caring individual to her family and those that surrounded her. Mom dedicated her time to the Church in many ways and instilled those values in her family. Every evening she read her Prayer Cards, one of her favourites is, " Thank you, dear Lord for your precious light. Keep my vision clear that I may only travel on Your lighted pathway."
