I miss my Mom every day, sometimes I cry and sometimes I smile remembering the good times that we shared. I know that she is now in a better place and now reunited with her loved ones who have gone before but she still lives within us and knowing that her pain is gone and her memories that were lost have now been restored, makes me happy. She is finally at rest in God’s loving care.
Thanks to all who have expressed their love for my mom and their sympathies to my brothers and me your kind words and support were greatly appreciated.

My condolences to the Hastings family on your tremendous loss. Growing up, I remember her with my mom and the other ladies at Bettencourts. Later on, I knew her as a relative of my good friends. I will always remember her sense of humor and independent will. May she rest in peace.

The relationship between grandparents and grandchildren is very special. There is love, fun, patience, support, the grandparents provide wisdom, stability, and attention to their grandchildren. Well, to me her great-nephew and my family Aunty Daphne was all that and much more. She has now gone home but the good memories remain with us.

Our dearest and most beloved auntie Daphne has left us. A bittersweet time for us as we are so blessed to have had her in our lives and now she’s moved on to her final destination.
