In Loving Memory of Claudia Yvonne Nickle.

It is with heavy hearts to announce that we lost our beloved mother, sister, aunt, great aunt, grandmother, and friend Claudia Yvonne Nickle who joined our Savior Lord Jesus Christ in the late evening of June 7, 2023, at the age of 65 years.

Claudia was born on February 19, 1958, in Saint Andrews Jamaica where grew up in a close-knit community in Tivoli Gardens, where she developed a strong sense of family values and a genuine appreciation for the simple joys of life. She was known for her quick wit, friendly nature, magnetic personality, infectious smile and charismatic voice and laughter. She loved people and effortlessly made a practice of placing anyone in need before herself.

Claudia was a deeply devout Christian, whose unwavering faith was the guiding force in her life. She lived her life in accordance with Christian principles, finding solace, strength, and purpose in her relationship with God. Claudia’s faith was not just a part of her identity, but it was the foundation upon which she built her values and shaped her interactions with others. Claudia was an inspiration to many, demonstrating through her actions the transformative power of a life lived in service to God and others.

She will be deeply missed by her children Horette Gordon, Caren Morgan, Dalton Watson, Tineka Nickle, Handel Davids, Charline Armstrong and Alicia Barrett. Our hearts burst with gratitude for the person she was and are comforted knowing she is at peace while we grieve her loss. We could not have asked for a better mother, sister, aunt, great aunt, grandmother; as a family we look forward to hearing and seeing all the memories she shared with the people she valued most.

Please note Claudia’s homegoing will be a celebration of her life, we kindly request attendees to reframe from wearing all black. In addition to offsite the financial implications of sending our adored Claudia to her final earthly resting place a donation box will be available for donations and sympathy cards.

The visitation, homegoing, interment and repass will commence promptly on Canadian time. For those unable to attend the home going service in person this portion of the day will be live streamed.

Claudia’s legacy will live on through the memories she created and the lives she touched. Her kindness, compassion, and unwavering love will forever be etched in our hearts.

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
