Obituary of Miss Delores Johnson

Delores L. Johnson, aged 81, peacefully passed away on Thursday, June 8, 2023, at Sheppard Lodge Home for the Aged in Scarborough, Ontario. She had been a resident there for the past 17 years, receiving exceptional care from the dedicated staff.

Born on November 8, 1941, in Manchester, Jamaica, Delores was the second eldest daughter among her thirteen siblings, born to the late Victor and Gwendolyn Johnson. She is lovingly remembered by her three children: Sherwin, Maxine, and Venise, as well as her late son, Adrian. Delores is also survived by her cherished eight grandchildren: Damian, Amoy, Malcolm, Javon, Janee, Fabian, Monique, and Taja, and her four great-grandchildren: Nathaniel, Jalen, Kingsley, and Kaius.

Additionally, Delores is survived by her nine siblings: Gloria, Glasford (Gresh), Katherine, Riley, Laford, Norris, Neville, Barbara, and Marva. She was preceded in death by her three siblings: Nellie, Irvin, and Earl. Delores also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews, all of whom held a special place in her heart.
