My sincerest condolences to all of Leonard’s family and friends. From the first day at work that I met Leonard, he was a sweet and gentle soul. A tribute for Leonard from his cousin Jacqueline: Leonard was a beautiful soul, a blessing, blessed. Too soon he has left us, too short the time I'd come to know him(only a few months, when my daughter went to Canada and we got back in contact). Distance had kept us apart but we were reunited through my daughter. From the very first time meeting him, I was struck and amazed by the beauty of his spirit that brought joy and light and humour to everyone and everything. It amazed and inspired me how he bore his affliction with such stoicism and positivity. He demonstrated remarkably the true gifts of the Soirit: love, joy, goodness, patience, kindness and longsuffering. So, when I think of Leonard, though there is the deep sorrow of him not being present in his physical body, it is his boundless joy, his laughter and positivity, his generosity and his infectious smile that I hold dear. Thank you dear cousin, you have given me much and I will remember you always with fondness and love. REST in peace, dear Leonard. I miss you sorely. Leonard, You were the first person I met when I got to Canada & you saved us at the airport. I will never forget the kindness, support & genuine care you had for us. We only had a few months together, but made so many memories in that short time. I can never make an order at starbucks without thinking about you, and every time I go to walmart it makes me smile. You brought joy and laughter into the simplest of things and that’s what I loved about you the most. Thank you for all the advice, stories and hilarious jokes - your laugh could fill a room. rest in eternal peace cuzzo.
