Dear Tim and Mark,
There are so many wonderful things to remember about your Mom, but 2 stand out in particular: her faith and her hospitality. Your parents were always such a beautiful part of our parish community and your Mom went to great lengths to ensure that the church was decorated so festively for our special holidays, (all those beautiful flowers so carefully ordered, personally picked up, delivered and placed in the church). She delighted in telling the story of cradling the Baby Jesus figurine all the way home on the airplane to ensure his safety and that figurine always figured so prominently in the creche at the front of St. Noel Chabanel Church every Christmas thereafter. Every time Holy Communion was brought to the house for your Dad in his later years, your mom had the table prepared to celebrate the Eucharist. After celebrating Communion we would often sit around enjoying your parents' stories of the home country, their journey to Canada and their years of work. So much joy and laughter! Your Mom was quite a woman. She will be missed but it is also so comforting to know that she has reunited with your Dad and they are both wrapped in the loving arms of Our Lord. Keeping you all in our thoughts and prayers at this difficult time,
Cathy Barry
