Obituary of Mrs. Lucilla Olivia Bosma

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our dearest Lucilla at the age of 90 on May 17th at Scarborough General Hospital.

Lucilla was born in the commonwealth of Dominica on July 8th, 1932.

Daughter of the late George and Dorothy Hamlet. Beloved wife of Nicolaas of 54 years, loving mother of the late George (Rosanne) and cherished grandmother of Zachary and furry friend Buster. One of her greatest joys was spending time with her grandson Zachary who adored her deeply.

Lucilla was a cherished sister to Slyvanie (Robert), Maslyn, James (Annette) and predeceased by loving siblings AnnaBella (Alleyne), twin sister Lucy (Newbury), Ellis (Percelia), Jordan (Myrtle) and Joseph (Rosa). Lucilla will be missed and will be fondly remembered by her extended family, nieces and nephews and dear friends.

As Lucilla faced recent health challenges, she exemplified courage and bravery until the very end. Lucilla is now at peace and will reunite with her son George.

Memories of her will last in our hearts forever.

Visitation will be held at Ogden Funeral Home,4164 Sheppard Ave., E. (Scarborough) on Tuesday May 23rd from 2pm-4pm and 6pm-8pm. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday May 24th at 11am at Milliken Wesleyan Methodist Church, 3 Clayton Dr. (Markham).

In lieu of flowers, donations to Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated in Lucilla's memory.
