Richard uncle was a kind hearted person... Always ready to help in what ever way he could.. Had heard a lot of through my dad from the time they worked together from American Offshore / IMI. Got to know him and his lovely family since 1987.

Richard Da’s presence in our lives brought joy, wisdom, and a warmth that will forever be missed. Despite spending very less time with him while growing up I have fond memories with Richard Da from when he last visited. He would always sit along with me for a good chat while I ate my food and he rolled his cigarettes while perfectly placing them in his little cigarette container. We’d talk about what I did in school and how my day went, and if I was ever late he’d quickly make sure I had my morning tea before I left for school. His gentle spirit and compassionate nature touched the hearts of all who knew him. I will forever cherish the memories we shared, the laughter we enjoyed, and the lessons he imparted. Though he is no longer with us, his memories and love will live on in my heart serving as a constant reminder of the incredible man he was. Rest in peace, Richard Dada, knowing that you will forever hold a special place in my heart. I wish I was there to see you one last time <3

Being the youngest sister in the family, I was always pampered. As I look back at our lives together, I realize he was my strength in more ways than I thought. Always the life of the party, the mischievous one and never a dull moment with him around.

I was the clerk on 6th unit when Richard's wife Theresa was admitted. He was very pleasant and never complaint. I always see him early morning, then living after lunch saying his turn to eat and will be back. He leaves early evening and his daughter come to be with Theresa for dinner.
Richard is a very kind warm person, always have a pleasant smile even when I left the unit going to another floor I always see him in the elevator and the lobby. I didn't know he wasn't well.

Uncle Richard is one of the few parents of my childhood friends that I remember fondly and vividly growing up in Al Shaab, Dubai. He always made sure we were comfortable and well looked after during our playtime with Sharon. I met Mr.Richard in Ras Al khaimah when he was working as a port engineer in American offshore company and he gave me a job.I have many memories with Richard and his family.

Q: What was Mr. Richard like as a child?
A: I remember Richard from when I was a child and he was a young man. My siblings and I would often spend our summer vacations and other holidays at our Uncle Michael’s home, and Richard was a frequent visitor there. Being a ‘big’ man and a big cousin, he’d take advantage of that and kind of ‘scare’ the little ones with his towering presence and resoundingly loud gravelly voice:) it was all in good fun and we’d laugh about it when we all grew up. Fond memories of a wonderful person who just had the quality of being the heart of the moment. Rest in peace brother.

Richard and me shared a very close bonding, though we were not biological sibling but were very closely connected cousins.
I looked up to him as my 'big brother'.
He was fun loving, with a heart of gold. Dependable, helpful to all
and never said 'No' .
He had a trait of being daring, mischievous and carefree in his youth. Always surrounded by people.
The fact that he is no more will always cause me pain, but forever in my heart until we meet again.
