Obituary of Mr. Carmelo Gerardo Corrales

Carmelo Gerardo S. Corrales, peacefully passed away due to cancer on May 2, 2023 at North York General Hospital. 

 

He was born on October 14,1961 in Cabugao, Ilocos Sur Philippines.

 

Carmelo is a responsible son of Natividad and Silvestre, a loving brother to William, Totoy,Nanet And Jennifer. He is a patient husband to his wife, Juliana; and a great father to 10 children; May, Ma. Luisa, Christian, Thaddeus, Rojan, Keith, Ralna Joy, Joan Ralna, Karla and Czarina. His wonderful grandchildren; Xavier, Jemaiah, Jelo and Johnzen  will truly miss him. 

 

The time we had, Dad,wasn't enough to pack in an entire

Lifetime of love.

 

There are so many questions

that I needed answers,

But now that you're gone, there's no way to ask you.

 

There are still photos here 

to help us remember you by and each time I look at them,

I still want to cry.

 

They say grief is easier

to bear as time goes by,

But that doesn't stop me

from wondering why were you taken from us too soon…

Why did God allow you to leave when  I have considered you as my guiding star in this life.

 

Despite such sadness,  I hope that you are now very happy in the hands of the Lord , free from pain and despair. 

 

Till we meet each other again, enjoy your time in heaven and I hope you will always be there to guide me and our family as always .
