Obituary of Mrs. Shirley Ann Kernohan

KERNOHAN, SHIRLEY ANN June 3, 1937 – May 4, 2023

Shirley in her 85^th year, passed away surrounded by what she valued most in life – peace, love and family, at Scarborough General Hospital, ON.  She was wife to Robert Kernohan- Bob (died: January 19, 1992) and she will be greatly missed by her daughter, Deborah, and her sister, Helen, her in laws, Myrna and Eric, her many nieces and nephews both in Canada and in Northern Ireland, and her many, many lifelong friends.  She loved her family, she loved her friends, she loved her garden, and she loved her desserts!  Born in Wiarton ON, moved to the city of Toronto to start working, fell in love, built a life, and a family with the love of her life Bob.  Her sense of humour, thoughtfulness, and her smile will be dearly missed.  The family will receive friends at Ogden Funeral Home – 4164 Sheppard Avenue E, Scarborough, on Sunday, May 7, 2023, from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m.  The service will be on Monday, May 8, at Ogden Funeral Homes at 1:00 p.m. Her interment will be Thursday, May 11, 2023, 1:00 p.m. at Bayview Cemetery, Wiarton ON.
