Papa, I will never forget when we would lay in the backyard and watch the clouds. We would point out all the interesting shapes they made. I enjoyed that time because it was one of the best things I remember doing with you. I’m going to miss watching Kutch Kutch in the living room watching the weather channel with you. I miss everything about you. I will never stop caring and thinking about you. And your passing has made such an impact on my life. I think about you everyday. And I wish I got to spend more time with you. Your memories will forever sit in my mind. And I pray your resting well. You were gone too soon and had so much more time ahead of you. I promise you I will take care of mom, grandma & Cullen for you. Please guide and help me through everything. Just like you would when u were here. Give me your strength and wisdom, and hold my hands while I walk through this journey without you. I wish you were still here. I Love You.

We met B and Kamla at the Husa Resort in Caya Santa Maria, Cuba in January 2014. We enjoyed spending time with you both while at the resort and developed a great friendship with many joyous visits both at your home and ours over the years. We will miss the many topics of discussions we had with B, his suggestions on yoga and the good times and laughter we all shared. Our heartfelt condolences to Kamla, Richard, Nicole and family.

Uncle B… where do I begin? Words cannot describe what I know we all feel with you departing this life so suddenly. So deeply saddened at losing our kind loving uncle. We shared many fun times, stories, ate good food, laughed and watched Indian movies and danced. The phone would ring late at night and you would say “Sam’s slaughterhouse?” That was quickly followed by ‘click’. We stayed up until wee hours of the morning having a great time. Got up and started again. I will never forget the delicious curry goat and Cantonese rice you made - secret recipe! You are greatly missed but rest in peace

Uncle B,
The very fact I call you that is testament to how welcome you made me feel and how warmly you accepted me into the family. Every moment we shared left me with a wonderful memory of you - your kindness, humor, and a smile that truly lit up the room. I will miss you dearly.

I remember Boodram being one of my brother's best friends (Sharma Maharaj).
He visited us once per week in the 60s to meet with my brother and they would go liming as my brother was the official driver after they visited a few bars. The time my brother was getting ready Boodram and I would spend time talking about current issues. I also remember him being very helpful whenever I visited the Warden's office in Chaguanas where he worked.
it was a pleasure knowing him. May he rest in peace.
My condolences to the family.

To my beloved Uncle B,
First I want to thank you for sharing your laughter and wit. Your smile was contagious and you always cracked a great joke.
One memory of you I will NEVER forget is when you came to visit New Jersey and insisted on playing Just Dance on the Wii with me and Alex. You insisted we all dance to the one Indian song in the list and we all did. The best part of that night was the absolute shock on everyones faces when you lifted your leg all the way above your head and started hopping around. I was in utter shock you were able to do that. With that being said I also will NEVER forget your amazing dance moves.
I also wanted to thank you for your support. One of the last times I spoke to you on the phone you asked me what you should do about your shoulder pain. Even though I just started my six year program for Physical Therapy and have no idea how to help yet, I did my very best and you said I was amazing. I will carry those words with me all the way through my program and think of you when I receive my white coat. Although it hurts my heart to lose you, I find peace in knowing you are always there supporting me and the family from heaven. I love you so much and will miss you deeply.
With Lots of Love,
Katherine Petrucelli

Q: What was Mr. Boodram really good at?
A: We will never forget the amazing story telling ways of Uncle. Our favorite story was when he was in Windsor and he was professing his love for the juicer. He went on a on how Sherrie and I would live forever if we just juiced.
Then one magical day he decides to show and tell, us just how fantastic juicing can be by making us a carrot, celery, apple and beet juice smoothy. He made the drink and we loved it. It was cold, refreshing and seemed to be the fountain of youth.
But the drink had other ideas, and wanted out. As fast as we drank it, we returned it.
This is will be a story we will never forget, because as promising as Uncle B made it sound; and he has a way of making everything sound important. By golly. The juice life style was not for us. But we love him for showing us the ways of the juicer.
To a wonderful story teller and the best uncle – we are going to miss you Uncle B thank you for the wonderful memories.
Love Sherrie and Warren MacTavish
