Obituary of Mrs. Alexandra Theodoulis
ALEXANDRA THEODOULIS
It is with heavy hearts and a profound sense of loss our family announces the passing of Alexandra Theodoulis on Wednesday, April 5, 2023. She passed peacefully in her sleep with her family by her side.
Born in Greece, she was the daughter of John and Zoe Vogiatzis, and sibling to the late Lemonia (Panayiotis), Damianos (Ariadni), Savva (Jenny), Mary (Foti), the late Theodosi (Mary) and Panagiota (Lefteri). Alexandra leaves behind her beloved husband, Anagnosti, her loving son Tom, her loving daughter Joy (Jim) and her two precious granddaughters, Tina and Alexandra. She will also be missed by her many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Alexandra was a very strong woman devoted to her family. She was always there when you needed her. Alexandra came to Canada to build a better life for her family. Her and her husband owned and operated a tailor shop in the Pape and Danforth area for over 30 years. Alexandra loved gardening and spent numerous hours nurturing her flowers and plants. She was a wonderful wife, dedicated mother, attentive grandmother and kind aunt. Her family was her biggest pride and joy. She was a pragmatic woman with a strong appreciation for the simple things in life.
Although Alexandra’s last four years were challenging, her perseverance and strength to over come every obstacle that she faced was a true inspiration. Many will attest that Alexandra was courageous and instilled values of commitment and hard work through examples. She was selfless, honest, kind and always gave great advise. We are truly blessed to share all of these years with her. Alexandra will be dearly missed by the many whose lives she touched.
A special thank you to Mary, her PSW, Nerissa, her nurse, Father Ted, Anastasia Mantas, Dr. Sarah Gregor, Kathy Di Matteo, the wonderful dedicated nurses and medical staff on 12 south at Mount Sinai Hospital, and the four compassionate ICU doctors at Scarborough General/Scarborough Grace: Dr. Raymond Guo, Dr. Martin Betts, Dr. Howard Clasky and Dr. Vinay Fernandes who went over and above to care for her each time she found herself in the ICU and ensured that she always got better and made it home to her family. You have all touched our hearts and we will forever be appreciative for your kindness.
