Mr. Kenneth Singh

Obituary of Mr. Kenneth Singh

Please share a memory of Mr. Kenneth to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Singh, Kenneth (January 25, 1941 - April 2, 2023) passed peacefully at Mackenzie Richmond Hill Hospital with his family at his side after a sudden decline in his health.

Kenneth was the loving father of Gizelle and Kerry, and former husband of Theresa Gomes, with whom he maintained a close relationship up to the time of his passing. Kenneth was predeceased by his six siblings: Thelma, Priscilla, Alma, Lucille, Cynthia, and his twin brother Ken Paul.

Kenneth will be dearly missed by his family, friends, and neighbours, and remembered for his kind and generous heart, gentle, sensitive nature, and humble, quiet, sweet spirit. He was selfless and went to great lengths to help others even at the cost of inconveniencing himself at times.

Many people will remember the fun, lively parties Kenneth hosted at his home in Scarborough, Ontario. The selections of calypso and soca music were tasteful and endless, keeping people constantly on the dance floor as they danced the night away in an atmosphere of warmth, love, and fun.

It's perhaps because of his good heart and quiet strength that Kenneth came through episodes of serious illnesses over the past 10 years. His family is thankful to God for sparing his life at those times and bringing him to the full age of 82.

"You were a good father" (Gizelle, daughter), "Daddy, I will love and miss you for eternity" (Kerry, son), "Divorced but never apart" (Theresa, former wife, and companion), "Kenneth will be missed in the neighbourhood" (Vince, neighbour), "He was like a father to my daughter Michelle" (Leah, neighbour). These are just a few examples of testimonies of the special ways in which Kenneth touched people's lives during his time on earth. Now, he can go on and rest in God's kingdom. "You have earned your angel wings" (Gizelle, daughter).
