Obituary of Mrs. Olga Rennie

RENNIE, OLGA (nee LUNICK)
March 9, 1932 - March12, 2023

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Olga Rennie on March 12. She passed
peacefully at Glynnwood with her family and caregivers by her side. Olga lived a vibrant and
full 91 years, and is survived by her son Derek and partner, Rachel.
We are comforted to know that she joins her loved ones - husband Charles Stanley (Stan)
Rennie (2009) and siblings Emilia Reeks (2015), Walter Lunick (2010) & Violet Lunick.
Career oriented and with dreams in her heart, she moved from Manitoba to Toronto in 1950 to
pursue a career in modelling and dancing. She and Stan were married in 1965, and were
gifted with their son Derek.

Olga was a wonderful mother, active in the community volunteering at many organizations over
the years. She also enjoyed singing in the Knox United Church choir.

During retirement Olga and Stan divided their time between Georgian Bay and Charleston
South Carolina where they enjoyed playing tennis and golf and an active lifestyle. Olga will be
dearly missed by the many whose lives she touched.

A celebration of life reception will be held at Auberge du Pommier, 4150 Yonge St. Toronto from 12:00 - 2:30pm on April 13, 2023.
