Renel Sohan was born September 24, 1927 in Thornton District, Jamaica.  He passed away from kidney failure March 23, 2023 at the Scarborough General Hospital.

Renel is survived by his beloved wife Ena; his loving children June, Fay, Leana, Marjorie, Melody, Serene, Vernicia and Joseph; 14 Grandchildren; 23 Great Grandchildren; and his siblings Phillip Sohan, Daisy Cooper, Birdie Cross and Violet Williams.

Predeceased by his sisters, Evelyn Wade, Lynette Green, Hazel Thompson and Iris Smith.

Renel attended Thornton Primary School in Jamaica and later became an Engineer at the Appleton Estate.  He liked to play cricket and was well known to enjoy singing and gardening.

Funeral Service to be held Scarborough Seventh Day Adventist Church, 4350 Lawrence Ave. E., Scarborough, Ontario M1E 1Z9

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Scarborough Seventh Day Adventist Church Building Fund.
