Obituary of Mrs. Aglaia Pantziris

PANTZIRIS, AGLAIA

March 3, 1939 - February 17, 2023

Aglaia passed away on Friday, February 17, 2023, at Tampa General Hospital in Tampa, Florida, at the age of 83. She is predeceased by her beloved husband of 50 years, Panayotis Pantziris, and her brother, Nicholas Moullas. She loved her family dearly, and will be forever missed by her children, Spiros Pantziris (Julie), and Ellen Bowlin (Brent); and her cherished grandchildren, Taki, Alex, Jack, Nicholas and Lia. Aglaia and Panayotis came to Canada in 1963, where they made their home and built a number of successful businesses. She will also be missed by her nieces and nephew, her many dear cousins and close friends in Canada, the US, and Greece. A special thanks to Zon Vincen and Bernadette Valdez, for their support and dedication. Friends may visit at the Ogden Funeral Home, 4164 Sheppard Ave E, Scarborough, on Thursday, March 2, 2-5 p.m. Funeral services will be held at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, 3840 Finch Ave E, Scarborough, on Friday, March 3, 1 p.m. Interment to follow at Elgin Mills Cemetary, Richmond Hill. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital would be appreciated.
