On January 11, 2023, George Owen Johnson (Sharpie), beloved husband, father, and brother, passed away peacefully at the age of 69. He was born in St. Catherine's, Jamaica, to the late Owen and Petrona Johnson. George is survived by his loving wife Valerie, his children Dennis, Mark, Monique, Natasha, Yohance, and Kevin, as well as seven grandchildren, sisters, nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins, and many friends. George was compassionate and had a great sense of humour. His devoted friends and family will miss him greatly.

 

To celebrate his life, a viewing (from 2 to 3 PM) and memorial service (from 3 PM) will be held at the Philadelphia Seventh Day Adventist Church, 65 Grand Marshall Drive, Scarborough, ON, M1B 5M6.

 

The memorial service will be streamed live at 2 p.m. on Sunday, January 22, 2023.
