Obituary of Mr. Tapas Mookerjea
It is with great sadness that the family of Mr. Tapas Mookerjea announces his passing on Monday, January 16, 2023, at the age of 85.
Tapas will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 58 years, Sulata; children, Anjan and Debanjan; daughters-in-law, Jennifer, and Aparna; and grandchildren, Anjali, Jayden and Kolpona.
Tapas was a devoted man of God, husband, father, and grandfather. He was also an enthusiastic member of the Bengali community in Toronto, participating in numerous plays, committees, and events. His big, hearty laugh and joy for life will be missed by his friends and family alike.
To celebrate his life, a viewing will be held on Thursday, January 26th, 2023, from 9:00 AM-11:00 AM at Ogden Funeral Home, 4164 Sheppard Ave E, Scarborough, ON M1S-1T3. Cremation services will follow at Highland Hills Funeral Home & Cemetery, 12492 Woodbine Avenue, Gormley, ON L0H 1G0.
