Sadly, Robert (Bob) James Morley, age 66 of Scarborough Ontario passed away suddenly on December 19, 2022 at home.
Having graduated from Ryerson College in his early 20’s, Bob’s career was in surveying - which fit with his love of the outdoors.
He was an avid bicyclist having worn out several bikes and peddling many thousands of kilometers around and beyond Toronto. His trips would sometimes catch him out in poor weather and longer trips would see him returning home well after dusk. A few times Bob was involved in an accident with motorists, the most serious being sideswiped by a car on a rural road knocking him off the road which nearly cost him the use of a foot.
Unfortunately he couldn’t take his bike with him so hopefully there’s a bike in heaven or there’ll be hell to pay.
Bob is survived by his only sibling, Lorne in Calgary, his sister-in-law Lynn, and cousins Joan, Margaret, and Peter in Ontario. Cousins Valerie and Paul live in England, from which Bob’s father emigrated in 1949.
Bob has been cremated and family will scatter his ashes for one last journey. We miss you Bob, be at peace.
