Brian was a very social person, quick witted, with a great sense of humour and never at a loss for words.
He enjoyed vintage songs and movies and loved to reminisce about his early years.
Brian was genuinely interested in others, kind and big hearted.
I will miss our neighbourly chats.

Brian was an intelligent man, a caring man, a man invested in his friends, a very funny man, and a knowledgeable man. But above all, he was a kind man with a HUGE heart. I will miss our conversations but I am truly happy for him that he is free at last. God bless your dear soul, Brian. Rest in peace and joy.

I had the pleasure in meeting Brian at buskerfest ST Lawrence Market in 2004, we remained the best of friends since that time...he was funny and quick-witted and generous to a fault!! His favourite song, ( besides the Beatles) was (where do you go to my lovely) by Peter Starstad, he would love that to be played at his memorial....though I hadn't seen him in many years, We kept in touch by phone and sang songs together!!❤ though he suffered from ill health in the last few years, he never lost his sense of humour or his kindness...or his joie de vivre....this is the first year that I Didn't send him a Christmas card because I was away!! I will miss him dearly...
