Terri-Mae Edwards posted a condolence

I know Aunt Hazel through my Dad, Karl Edwards. Audrey was a dear friend of his during his early years in Canada, and when we all came to Canada I met Aunt Hazel. I don't know that she remembered me, many years had passed since we were in each other's presence, but I felt the sorrow of her passing. Her life is woven in my memories of Dad, who has also passed, Audrey and my life here in Canada.
I just want to acknowledge and honour her life; the impact of her presence in the lives of those who knew her best and well. I pray she is at rest with her Maker.
On behalf of the Edwards family we extend our sincere condolences to the family, as well as our prayers for the comfort of God's peace as you grieve.

Aunts have no wands or wings,
So they work with wisdom, love, and things.
Having taken on this role,
You loved your family right down to their soul
You’re in God’s Heavens now and no longer in pain,
In our thoughts , you’ll always remain
Love you always
Condolences from Horace and Maxine

My loving and caring Aunt is gone home to be with the Lord. I’m thankful for the many wonderful memories of laughter that we shared. She was very supportive, in different ways, of her late sisters’ children and grandchildren, becoming like a mother and grandmother, respectively, to us. She was so unique and will never be forgotten. May Aunt Hazel rest in peace—free from all her aches and pains. Carol (Karl), Kevin and Nicole
