Obituary of Mr. Donovan Antonio Pinnock

Please share a memory of Mr. Donovan Antonio to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

DONOVAN ANTONIO PINNOCK, affectionately called D A P, Tony, and Guy by his close relatives is the first son of Stephen and Mavis Pinnock. He was born in the district of Turner's Four Paths, Clarendon, Jamaica on July 17, 1952, and went to rest on 12/11/2022.

He was educated at Wood Hall School in Clarendon, Jamaica, and became a Police Officer with the Jamaica Constabulary Force. When he migrated to Canada, he joined the Toronto Police Services where he served for 46 years.

He was always ambitious, and industrious and accomplished much for himself and his family in terms of his humble beginnings. He will be missed, not only for his outgoing personality and beautiful smile but for his generosity and being a good conversationalist. He was a God Fearing man and loved to sing old-time hymns. He doted on his mother Mavis and was very close to her, especially in her older years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Raphy Forbes, Veno Pinnock, and nephew Michael Forbes. He leaves cherished memories to his children Christine, Danielle, and Antonia, and grandson Easton. Siblings: Edwina Pinnock, Patricia Absalom, Olderene Pinnock, Ricardo Pinnock, Merando Forsythe (Ricardo), Rosalee Pinnock, Shantell Bowleg. Nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews, three Aunts, and a host of cousins, family, and friends.

He is gone from our sights, but never in our hearts. We love you.
