Dear Carl and Ruth, Carrie and Steve, and families.
Our thoughts are with you as you mourn this remarkable mother, grandmother, aunt, etc . Aunt Marg was very special to us. I (June) was in awe of her gift for story telling, her amazing memory and most of all for her interest in, and love for so many of her extended family. She always asked for people by name and kept any who were sick or having difficulties in her prayers. Many times, she would tell me during a phone call that " Cousin X is sick or Nephew Y had an accident. We have to pray for them". She did pray and kept track of how they did. Many of us felt like we were her little flock because she called us so regularly... at least back when she was in her own apartment. When I last saw her in Sept, she was frail but still with the same spirit. I could see my dad (Harvey) in her so clearly. I'll miss going to see her when I'm in Ontario. But we'll meet again and that brings so much joy. I've included 3 pictures. One is Aunt Marg and Aunt Emma in Aug. 2022. We managed to bring Emma down to Marg's room. Neither of them could talk much that day but they just held hands. Another picture is Aunt Marg as a young girl out in Bishop's Cove. The 3rd is Aunt Marg and her brother Harvey (Dad) when they were working out on the base in Argentia. Love from June and Paul
