Ron, I remember you as my friend and neighbour on Richbourne Crt. Your mom and I shared our love of Guinea pigs and I loved her fudge and intelligence. She really was an inspiration to everyone she met, especially girls like me who had few academic role models in those days. Our hearts are saddened by your loss but we know your mom is and always will be in your spirit too. We still reminisce often of our family times with you, blessed and encouraged by your lovely mom, Muriel. Chris Barker

Muriel Cluett has lived beside us on Richborne court for over 50 years and we could not have asked for a nicer neighour.
Our condolences to the Cluett family on their loss. RIP Muriel until we meet again.

I would say that Muriel's the role model of the ideal of a member of U.W.C. - very articulate, very involved, interested in everyone's lives, cheerful, encouraging, thoughtful and kind. I will always treasure my memories of Muriel. She made a big impression me. A treasured friend!
