Obituary of Mr. Vincenzo Cucuzza

It is with heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Vincenzo Cucuzza on November 30, 2022. Vincenzo passed away peacefully with his family by his side. Born in Rosolini, Sicily on June 20, 1937, the second child to the late Maria Aprile and Giuseppe Cucuzza. Beloved husband of 58 years to Giuseppina.  Loving father to Maria (Benito), Carmela, Linda (Otello) and proud grandfather to Adamo, Marco, Davide, Madeline, Elijah, and Silas.

Vincenzo and his young family arrived in Toronto in March of 1967 with wide eyes and big dreams to start a new path in Canada.  Although there were many new challenges moving to a country so foreign to him, he worked hard and quickly embraced the Canadian way of life to demonstrate his commitment and love to his cherished family. 

Vincenzo was a man with admirable patience and strength, and carried those qualities until his last breath.  He was such a hardworking man with almost superhuman perseverance to get things done. He could always be counted on to lend a helping hand at any time of day (or night) without hesitation and was the most trustworthy person to everyone in his life. 

He enjoyed his time in his garden and ensured  quality time was spent with his family including front row seats (at home) for Saturday night Maple Leafs games, Serie A soccer, and Formula 1 racing. 

We will continue to live our lives in honour of what you have done for us. We love you forever, Dad.  Always in our hearts. Rest In Peace.
