Obituary of Mrs. Celeste Oge

Celeste Veronica Ogé passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at the age of 73. Daughter of Ruby Sobers and the late Victor Sobers. Mother of Claudine, Michel, and Alix. Sister of Judy, Wayne, and Adrian. Aunt of Tanya and the late Marcus, Curtis, Tenika, Andrew, Yasmine, Tatiana, and Malika. Grandmother of Tyrell, Jayden, Julene, Tayjon and Tristan. Great-grandmother of Judah and Jo'ella. Niece of Norma Edwards.

Celeste was born in St. Lucy, Barbados on October 5th, 1949. Her family moved to Montréal in 1960. She grew up in Cote St. Luc, Quebec, and met and married her late husband Jean Ogé in 1971. For the past 40 years she had been actively involved in her Buddhist faith. She was recently appointed Vice Woman Group Area Leader. She was very passionate about helping people and had a habit of putting other people's interests ahead hers. Celeste worked as a Client Services Representative for the Bank Of Montreal for over 35 years and retired at 60. She loved playing Ping Pong, doing yoga, and playing Spider Solitaire in her spare time. After the COVID lock downs she made it a priority to get out more and spend more quality time with her friends and family.
