Obituary of Mr. Trifon Kosmas

Trifon Kosmas passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by his loving family, on Tuesday, October 25th, 2022. He lived a healthy life of hard work and always put his family before himself. 

He was born in Sagkas Arkadia, Greece, on July 20th, 1945 and enjoyed a youth of farming and learning trades. He took his trade of painting to Canada in 1962 and flourished. Even though he didn't want to leave Greece, he chose to go to keep the family together. 

Together with his parents, Epameinondas, Vasiliki and siblings, they built themselves a wonderful life in Canada.

He was married in 1980 to his loving wife Ange (nee Hasos) and had three children he always sacrificed for Peter, Paul, and Vicky. All the sacrifices paid off with the marriage of his son Paul to Rachel and his biggest joy, the birth of his grandson Louis (Elias Trifon), whom he loved playing and dancing with in his last years. 

His life maxim, which he inherited from his father, was "Your life doesn't belong to you. It belongs to those that come before you, and those that come after", and he lived that to his last days, always living for the people he knew he had to care of.
