Please share a memory of Ms. Agnes to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

It is with great sadness and monumental sorrow that the family of Agnes Lucinda Dennie announces her passing in the pre-dawn hours of Tuesday, October 18, 2022, in Toronto, Ontario at the age of 81. Agnes was born on December 19, 1940 in Troumaca, St. Vincent & the Grenadines, and was predeceased by her father Hugh Fitz-Gerald Dennie, and her mother Louise Gwendolyn Dennie née Adams, her sister Etta (Lavern) Ramnath and brother Lisbon Dennie. Agnes is fondly remembered by her daughter Sharon Dennie, her son Sean Dennie, her grandchildren Daniel Milanovic, Maezy Dennie, Stefan Milanovic, Medina Dennie, Julian Milanovic, Zaiyah Dennie, her sisters, Wilma, Jane, Cordelia(Thalia), and brother Winston as well as endless beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Agnes immigrated to Canada in 1965, joining her two older sisters Wilma and Cordelia. She worked at Queen Elizabeth Hospital before completing nursing school in 1969. Upon graduating, Agnes was offered a job as a nurse at The Hospital for Sick Children and continued to work at a number of hospitals in the GTA for over 30 years, including the Toronto Rehab Centre, and the Riverdale Hospital.

An exceptional student with a fashionable, artistic flair, Agnes committed herself to life-long learning and the pursuit of artistic endeavours, and she also enjoyed cruising and travelling. Her biggest joys however, was living in service of her family and the Lord. Agnes was a kind, devout, generous, independent, savvy and loving person who worked tirelessly to create a good life and home for her children. She loved gathering and sharing excellent food, and spirited discourse.

Agnes will be missed by all who knew her and continually loved by all that miss her.
