Obituary of Mrs. Nenita Santos Verches

November 8, 1938 - October 18, 2022

Nenita passed away on October 18, 2022 at the age of 83.  Born in Balanga, Bataan, Philippines on November 8, 1938 to Pedro Santos and Herminia Banzon.

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of over 56 years, Rafael; children: Agnes, Rafael (Nancy), beloved Ronald (Toni), and George (Liza); grandchildren: Junior, Maliya and Alexia.  She will be dearly missed by her siblings Felicia and Perla.  Predeceased by siblings Conrado, Fernando "Diko", Guillermo and Cely.  She will be dearly missed by all her family and friends.

Nenita was a kind and generous soul who always thought of everyone else first.  She loved her family and never complained regardless of how she was feeling and always thought and worried about everyone else before herself.

And although she always put her family first, she was still able to build a very successful career as a Consultant through her hard work and dedication which she passed on to all of her children.

She was loved by everyone and always welcomed everyone into our home with open arms including all of her children's friends growing up through our early years.  She was always looking to help anyone out in need and provide support when required. Her favourite time of the year was always Christmas as she insisted on hosting our family celebration every year where her home became the gathering place for all.  In her later years, what made her smile and her eyes sparkle were her grandchildren and her variety of fond memories with them which always provided her happiness and laughter even over a dedade later.

The family wishes to send a special thank you to the special nurses for their care and compassion.  Flowers are welcome to be delivered to the funeral home.
