Obituary of Ms. Esma "Elaine" Burke
Esma Oreta Burke passed away peacefully on October 10, 2022, after a brief illness at Scarborough General Hospital. She was born on July 3, 1966, in Spanish Town, St. Catherine, Jamaica. Her parents were Alvin and Urslin Burke.
She was an extremely good cook her specialities were: Escovitched Fish, Fried Chicken and amazing baking skills. She loved to sing and dance to “Every Praise is to Our God”. She participated in her Church activities both here and in Jamaica. Esma is survived by her dear grandson Azariah (8 years old), sisters, Pauline, Daisy, Claudette, Christine, Angela, Sophia and Brenda; brothers Sheldon and Luther, nieces, nephews and cousins. She will be deeply missed by her numerous friends and family, in Canada, Jamaica and the USA. Especially, by her good friends: Raymond, Dawn, Kenisha, Yvonne, Jennifer and Delores, along with her church family.
She was predeceased by her parents, and her sons, Carlos and Kevaughn.

Funeral Service will be on Saturday October 29th at 12:30 PM
Burial will take place at Resthaven Memorial Gardens 2700 Kingston Road, Scarborough ON.
