Hey Mr. Omar Caum, I missed your voice. Yes, your golden voice. I missed the way you sang a song to me. Do you know what? I loved the most the Jamaican National Anthem. You know why? You sang it with feelings and with explanation. Especially you offered yourself to sing that song, saying “Hey Myla let me sing the Jamaican National Anthem for you. I know I have sung the Canadian National Anthem and my favorite songs for you, but you need to listen this song." That is the last song I heard from you. Anyway, I have your Spotify anytime I can play it and enjoy your music list. 100th……. king. So sad there is no more 2 to 4 hours phone conversation anytime in the day. Its autum season, one of your favorite season of the year. I missed walking with you at the valley and having picnic eating fried chicken. Its beautiful out there now, leaves are change colors.
Its been a while, i missed everything about us. Everyday i passes by your place. Omar, these last few days have been filled with the best memories of you and there are so many things about you that I will never forget. How proud you were to be a dad, how much you loved dogs, how you always asked about family, how you checked on me during hard times, and of course all of the times you brought drinks or snacks to try to convince me to switch lunches with you. You always shared advice and always reminded me to value life, peace, and my loved ones. I’m thankful to have met you.

My big brother forever! You have always had my back and provided guidance when I was a teenager. Whenever I needed someone to talk to and shoot the shit about growing pains I knew I could turn to you. For that I will always be thankful and hold you in the highest regard.
I will always remember visiting you when you worked at Champs all the time and bugging you after school. I remember being so happy when you and Ate got your own place and I would come over all the time. I will never forget that time I thought I had the loudest loud and couldn’t wait to show you, You just laughed at me and told me I had no idea what I was talking about, “this is so quiet” you said and brought out your pack and we were just laughing the whole night watching Family Guy. Or when Ate used to make fun of me and you and I would gang up on her and she would still have to cook us dinner LOL. Remember when I had that boyfriend and you had to save me me from him? You never turned your back on me and made sure I was freed of him. You would always have me read and recite Psalm 27 to protect me, today it was read at your service and it put me at peace.
You meant so much and will continue to mean so much to not on me by my family. From you and dad bonding over precious, Mommy always cooking you Mechado and us always picking on Booger. We all grew up together and went though some serious trials and tribulations. Your wisdom and knowledge of life was always so rich and I am very grateful to have experience it first hand.

I was blessed to meet and known Omar for the last 5 years of his life. And Im glad that i put smile on your face on that 5 years. Thank you so much for all the memories we shared together. He is the sweetest person i ever known. He makes me feel that Im loved and protected everytime his around me. He is a warrior , inteligent and he has lots of confidence on him. His a good father to his daugther. Babe if i given chance to meet Ashintah again, i will tell her how much you love her and she's the most wondeful and best thing happened to your life.
