Obituary of Mr. Julius Ramos-Nastor

Julius Dandy Ramos Nastor, also known as Anak, Kuya, Ninong, Deeuz, Julie, Bools, Bools Santana, Boolius, Julioso, Don Julio, J Nasty, Brocco Taco, Bubba Keg Bools, Dunno Run Da Breezy and Jules, was born on April 22nd, 1997, to Juliet and Dandy Nastor. He was part of a large family that included one brother, one sister and thirty-one cousins. 

Julius obtained his bachelor’s degree in criminology from University of Ontario Institute of Technology (UOIT). He aspired to become a police officer, like his grandfather. He gave back to his community by volunteering with the Oshawa library reading buddies program, where he assisted younger children with their reading skills. Julius was also involved with the Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Clarington, where he was able to create a strong connection with his little brother Michael. Michael and Julius spent lots of time together. They loved to catch frogs, play sports and try out experiments. They would also spend hours playing Minecraft and Roblox.

Julius loved to spend his time eating burgers, learning about cars, watching and reading Dragon Ball Z, going on walks with his dog Mochi, learning Spanish and travelling to Florida. Most of all, he was happiest when he was surrounded by family and friends.

None of these facts can truly encapsulate who he was as a person. Julius was the kindest soul, the most selfless person and one of a kind. If you were to ask others to describe Julius in one word, it would be “selfless.” Julius was always one to put others before himself. He knew when you were down and was willing to do whatever it took to make sure you were heard and not alone. Julius brought out the best in everyone and always made sure to leave you with a smile. Whether he was at home, on the court, at school, at the beach, or the mountains, he always managed to make your day brighter. 

Julius is survived by his beloved parents Juliet and Dandy, brother Joshua, sister Christine, girlfriend Shyeanne, godson Zayden, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.
