Roy, where do I begin but not want to end? I know you’re in a place of peace but we here can’t except that you are gone as yet. Some of us will never except it but we can’t be selfish and have to think of you wanting us to strive and continue on. YOU always had a smile of sunshine, a heart of gold that no one can compare to. YOU took care of EVERYONE in-spite of their story and situation. You never judged anyones negative nature and saw the positive in every aspect in all of us. YOUR lectures was always golden and I wish I had the time to hug you and thank you for all the life lessons you brought to me. Your home was my home and you always made sure that I felt that way always. Your voice and laughter replays in my head like a beautiful melody that I will always listen to and cherish throughout my life. Although time and distance was between us, I felt you always in my heart. Thank you for being YOU and caring for my family always. Roy, I can’t believe you are gone but you will never truly be forgotten. Your children and grand kids are so blessed to have you as their papi and grand papi. As my gift to you, I dedicate a tree of life in memory of you that will live long pass me lol. YOU are and will always be AMAZING! Can’t wait to join you for some rice and beans! you were a beloved father and stand up grandfather a great pillar of your community and an overall lovely man. Papi you are a true inspiration, always on the sunnyside of hopes. simply a man full of dreams with the backbone to see them through. what a sad day it was to here you passed, life will be infilnitly duller now that your presence will no longer be with us. How can one discribe the big hole left behind by this particular loss. you really did mean a lot to many people and you really are going to be sadly missed. i will be missing our time together when i went to organize you, i treasure those memories. papi im so sad this is a big one. Please Rest in Peace and dont worry about us ...we still have each other. Love you papi tell grandma i said hi!

I thank God everyday that he blessed my life with your presence. I will miss your stories and lectures, and the debates we always had, the dancing, the laughing, and your delicious food (especially the fish). There could never be enough words to describe how much you were loved and how much light you brought to such a dull world. I pray that your sailing on the waters of paradise, walking on its sands with bare feet, eating dinner with your Mami and truly happy. I promise to keep my promise I made to you on that Friday night when we walked to Max for your lottery ticket….. this isn’t goodbye just,

He estado tratando de componer esta nota, pero no encuentro las palabras adecuadas que cubran los sentimientos de su partida celestial cuñado
Siempre estará en nuestra memoria, las reuniones tradicionales con la familia, los viajes que hacíamos juntos aunque se dormía la mayoría del camino pero era bien amena la compañía, LAS CAMINADAS EN INVIERNO, proyectos y los planes de comidas con la familia, eventos y reuniones especiales;siempre estará con nosotros
Fue un ejemplo y una escuela para todos
Que en paz descanse cuñado en el lado celestial y al lado de los seres queridos que ya están allá
Aquí seguiremos la unidad familiar como siempre hemos querido y con su memoria
