We would like to send our condolence to the family of Felix Rose. We were privileged to come to know “Mr. and Mrs. Rose” at the Peoples Church many years ago. Sitting in front of us each week, we would be warmly greeted by Mr. Rose with a firm handshake and broad smile and made to feel right at home. We felt that it would be disrespectful to call them by their first names, but we were soon admonished to be on a first name basis. Despite the admonition, we still found it hard to call Mr. Rose “Felix” ! It has been sometime since we have shared the church pew and we miss seeing the Roses each week. However, we look forward to worshipping together again in heaven soon. Life has no doubt been difficult for Mr. Rose since the passing of Mrs. Rose and so it is wonderful to know that Mr. Rose is now free of the sickness and sadness of this earth, and joyfully in the presence of Jesus.
