Obituary of Mr. Marjan Zore
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Marjan “Mark” Zore at the age of 90 on Saturday July 30th at Georgetown Hospital. Mark was born in Yugoslavia and moved to Canada with his older brother Milan.
Mark married his true love Gertrude and enjoyed a marriage of 40 years full of love and laughter until Gertrude passed away in December of 2010. Mark and Gertrude lived in Scarborough for many years and enjoyed spending time at their cottage on Crego Lake.
He will be remembered in the hearts of his nephews Robert Zore (Cindy), Gordon Zore (Kelly), his nieces Joanna Buettner (Josh), Renata Sukalic and extended family in Croatia, sister-in-law Eva Zore, great nieces and nephews Alexander, Rachel, Ethan, Tyler and Emma Zore.
Visitation for Mark will be held on Monday August 8th from 1:00pm – 4:00pm.
In Lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Heart and Stroke foundation.
