I knew Dave through the photo industry supplier Booth Photographic - he was my sales rep. Dave was certainly a character, but was incredibly knowledgeable. Whenever I was thinking of adding a product line that I was not experienced with, he would patiently sit down and explain all aspects of it to me. It is very rare to have sales reps with deep technical knowledge, and Dave spent many hours in my store teaching me, so that I could in turn teach my customers.
His love for photography (and trains) is what I'll remember about him, and his laugh.
