Josephine Audrey Thomas

April 16, 1926 - June 27, 2022

 

It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of Josephine Audrey Thomas on June 27, 2022, aged 96 years.

 

Predeceased by her beloved husband Edwin Thomas, and loving younger sister to the late Eileen (Franciscus) Claassen and Doreen (William) Hall, she is the cherished mother of Andrea Little (Daniel dec.), Yvonne Davies (Lester), and Howard (Janet dec.). She is dearly loved and will be greatly missed by her grandsons Tristan Davies and Morgan Little.

 

Josephine, born in Liverpool, England, was a homemaker and after the passing of her husband, immigrated to Canada in 1985 and was a caring and supportive nana to her grandsons.

 

The family are sincerely grateful for the care and compassion given to Josephine by the nursing staff and carers at Rouge Valley Extendicare, in particular Debra and June.

 

In lieu of flowers donations to the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
