EVELYN BLANCH WALKER - HYLTON

Evelyn Blanch Walker – Hylton, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 20, 2022. She was born on August 24, 1941, in Fairy Hill, Portland Jamaica, to her beautiful Mother, Emel Anderson who predeceased her. She moved to Toronto, Canada in December 1970, and lived with her aunt Mae. It was at an event held at her Aunt Mae’s home where she met her late husband Eric Constantine Hylton. Together they built a loving, respectful relationship and developed  mutual respect in fishing, and travelling. While they had no children together, they showed love and affection to all their nieces and nephews who couldn’t help but to do the same in return.

Evelyn worked as a Health Care Aide/ Personal Support Worker for over 30+ years, caring deeply for her patients, always exemplary in her approach, exhibiting patience and a very positive attitude. She was often commended for her service to all patients and was highly regarded by her peers and other health care professionals as an invaluable team player. Beloved by family, friends, peers and by all who came into her presence. She will be sorely missed.
