To my friend Malcolm,
Goodbye my Brother. RIP. See you in another life, my friend. I greatly cherished our friendship all these years and I am saddened that you were called home by the lord. I wish we could get another chance to talk about race horsing and other sports that we loved. You will be always forever missed.
In 1972 I met Geary aka Malcolm at a party - a get together for West Indians who had just arrived in Toronto to seek a new life. From that day on, a beautiful and sincere friendship developed between us. This year 2023, will make it 50 years of friendship. Malcolm was a blessed MAN, a highly intellectual person and a very kind hearted soul, who listened and gave great advice to anyone who sought his services.
I remember in some of my darkest days of my life, he was the "Disciple" who showed me hope and courage to carry on --- Thank you very much my brother! He was also, a great family man, a religious and righteous person, who believed in the lord and was always willing to hold hands and pray with you to resolve with whatever was troubling the individual. Many times I would call him Pastor Malcolm because I believed he was chosen by God the almighty father to serve the lord and the people who sought his spiritual guidance.
To Marilyn his ever loving wife and soulmate:" Stay strong and I hope that you have comfort in the days to come and I hope your heart heals". To his children Duane/ Darren and Grandchildren: "Kids your dad has left very big shoes to be filled. I hope that you guys will follow the example that he displayed in life".
On behalf of the entire Khan Family Azad and Yasmin, Sacha & Krystal & Caila please accept our sincere condolences in this time of sorrow.
I am very happy to know that there will be a virtual funeral that I can watch because my health is not so good these days to attend in person and I am unable to make that long commute from where I am. I wish I could be there in person to say my last goodbye.
