My family hasn't lived on Japonica for 30 years but when I heard of Mr De Lio's passing the first things I remembered from my childhood there were the AC Milan flag hanging from the rear view mirror in his pick up truck, and his kindness to neighbours (such as helping a very elderly couple on our street). Just wanted to say to Frank, Maria and the rest of the family that I am sorry for your loss.

Cherished memories in our early days on Japonica road where we enjoyed many celebrations with Peter and the DeLio family.
Peter will be missed by all his neighbours, where you were always invited to join him on his veranda for a glass of his homemade wine and capocollo. He will be missed by all of us, but especially our oldest son Joseph, who as a toddler would often disappear to Peter’s backyard with his shovel to help him with his garden. Cheers, to a man with a big heart! God bless, we will miss you!
