Paul Frederick Armstrong

November 11, 1945 - May 25, 2022

Paul was born at East General Hospital and grew up in East York.  He spent a lot of his younger life involved with Sea Cadets and at his grandmother's cottages at Wasaga Beach.

Later, Paul settled in Scarborough with his wife Anne to raise his family.  He became involved in Scouts, coaching his daughter's Ringette and his son's Hockey, as well as Softball for both of them.  Attending all his kids’ activities were his happiest times, which extended to his grandkids' activities whenever it was possible.

In their retirement, Paul and Anne relocated to Stouffville.

During the summers he loved to travel with his family, taking their trailer throughout Ontario, through Quebec or the north-eastern U.S. to the Maritimes, and on several treks to Florida and flights to visit western Canada.  As his family grew older, so did his love of the Family Cottage in Nova Scotia.  This is a little piece of heaven where, upon retirement, he and Anne would go from June to October, and would be visited by his kids and grandkids.

His love, energy and positivity will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him.

Paul is survived by his wife Anne Armstrong, daughter Heather and her husband Mark, son Robert and his wife Heather, and by his four grandchildren Kelsey, Keiran, Abigal and Evan who were the lights of his life.  He was predeceased by his mother Eileen and step-father Lloyd Jay, his father Fred and his little sister Jackie.
