Obituary of Mr. Christopher Coleman

COLEMAN, Christopher Cornelius 

It is with great sadness that the family of Christopher Cornelius Coleman announces his peaceful passing on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at the age of 83 years. Christopher will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 53 years, Evadney and his children Paul, and Samuel. He will join his two other children Sarah, and Emmanuel in Heaven, who passed away May 31,1998. Christopher will also be fondly remembered by countless family members in Jamaica, Canada, UK, and USA who cannot be mentioned individually because of the abundance of them. Christopher was the last remaining sibling of his Parents but will also reunite with his brothers Neville (Karien), who passed away in 2020 in the UK, and John (Lois) who passed away in 2019 in Canada. Christopher was also predeceased by his sisters Marium, and Rebecca Coleman. 

A single formal viewing will be held on June 3, 2022 from 4pm till 8pm, for Elder Christopher Cornelius Coleman at Ogden Funeral Home located at 4164 Sheppard Avenue East, Agincourt, Ontario M1S 1T3  

A Celebration Of The Legacy Of Life For Elder Christopher Cornelius Coleman will be held in his memory on Saturday, June 4, 2022 at 12pm at the church that he served at for over 40 years (Members In Christ Assemblies located at 764 Ellesmere Road, Scarborough, Ontario M1P 2W4, with his son the Rev. Samuel Coleman officiating.

The Interment will follow at Duffin Meadows Cemetery located at 2505 Brock Road North, Pickering, Ontario L1X 0K3. A private reception will be held at a selected location and will be communicated to everyone invited due to COVID restrictions still being in place. Your understanding is appreciated.
